Poles and Holders started when a father and daughter went camping in the desert, only to get lost when trying to find their way back to camp. Once finally finding camp, Corky King came back home and decided that it would be a good idea to have a flagpole attached to his RV to make it easier to find homebase when out riding in the desert. He went to his local marine store, assembled a flagpole and built a mount. After six months of camping with his fancy new flagpole, and numerous questions of where he bought it, Corky decided to go into buisiness for himself. And that is where Poles and Holders was born!
